CALL FOR PAPERS / ARTICLE SUBMISSION

The editor invites scholarly articles that contribute to the development and understanding of all aspects of Medical and Dental specialties. All manuscripts are double blind peer reviewed. If there is a requirement, medical statistician reviews statistical content. Invitation to submit paper: A general invitation is extended to authors to submit papers for publication in JCMAD. We follow standard- “Uniform Requirements of Manuscripts for Biomedical Journals”. AUTHORS GUIDELINES

Title Page

Title should be written in bold and upper case. Write names of authors in sequence followed by affiliation. Full name and full postal address of the corresponding author including mobile number and email id should be mentioned. Mention conflict of interest, source of support and ethical clearance.

Abstract

Abstract should be structure (background, objectives, method, result and conclusion). For Letter to Editor abstract is not necessary. Word limit for abstract is 200-250 words. Abstract should be followed by at least 3 keywords.

Introduction

Provide background in brief; elaborate aims and objectives of the study in details. Avoid extensive review of literature. Results and any kind of conclusion about the study must not be included in this section.

Methods

Mention details of materials used and method followed. Describe the method in detail. Specifications of drugs, chemicals, and instruments should also be mentioned. Statistical methods used including sample size calculation should also be incorporated in this section. Mention about ethical clearance.

Results

The findings should be clear and in sequence. Text of the results and data of the tables or figures should match with one another. Table or figure should be in result section only and followed immediately of the respective text.

Discussion

Results should be precisely discussed in this section. Avoid unnecessary and extensive review of literature. Do not repeat the results which are already elaborated in detail in result section.

Conclusion

Conclusion should be brief and linking back to the main aims and objectives of the study.

Acknowledgement

It should be brief and specific.

Reference

References should be in Vancouver style. Quote references in text by superscripting. Citations should be labeled with round () bracket. Reference style must be according to uniform guidelines, http://www.icmje.org

Declaration

All the authors must sign in sequence and scanned copy should be sent along with manuscript. Declaration form (DOCX file) can be downloaded. [DOCX]

Article Processing Fee

Once the paper is accepted in this journal the author is required to pay article processing charges. For Indian authors fee is rupees 3000 and for International authors it is $100
